Open Educational Resources (OER)
Open Educational Resources (OER) are free, openly licensed learning materials that anyone can use, adapt, and share. They include textbooks, videos, lesson plans, quizzes, and more — all designed to support teaching and learning without cost barriers. OER promote equal access to quality education, encourage collaboration among educators, and allow for localized or personalized content. Proper use of OER involves respecting the license terms (such as Creative Commons) and giving credit to original authors. When used thoughtfully, OER empowers learners and teachers alike to innovate and grow together.
